About Us

Enthusiasm and passion for the recorder unites the three young musicians Seraina Ineichen, Lydia Dietrich and Cecilia Massenzana. With the entire recorder family, the trio interprets music from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Baroque, the 20th century as well as the present, seeking collaboration with composers of the current time.
The recorder players met in 2019 during their master’s studies with Professor Andreas Böhlen at the Zurich University of the Arts and founded Ensemble Euterpe in 2020.
Their debut took place on October 22, 2020 in the village of Turbenthal, where the ensemble played in the Sticki Kaffe concert series. Since then, the trio performs regularly in Switzerland and collaborates with other musicians as well as choirs.
